Athena was found on the road in horrific condition. With open, bleeding sores on her body, Athena was anemic and barely able to stand. 

Whilst her physical health was poor, we had seen cases like this before. It was her mind we were worried about. Abuse and abandonment had broken Athena’s heart, and gaining her trust back took months.
