An emaciated Chocolate lab with soulful eyes, Chris Robin was found abandoned and stumbling about on the road. Once rescued and transported to one of our partnered hospitals in the city, Chris began his long recovery journey. 

Chris was found to have weak joints and badly bowed back legs due what looked like a lifetime of living in a cage with no exercise. He has skin lesions from a rash, ulcers in his eyes and megaoesophagus which is no longer a rare condition in dogs bred in Sri Lanka.  We worked with Chris every day from ensuring he was fed properly to cleaning out his eyes, to taking him for walks and swims to strengthen his joints.
